The goal of the Augusta Police Junior Police Academy is to provide youth living in our local communities with an introduction to the field of law enforcement. Through classroom training, hands-on instruction, and practical application, cadets will be given the basic building blocks of knowledge to establish a solid foundation in law enforcement. Camp runs from 8:30 - 3:00 each day.
Permission slips (linked below) are due NO LATER than 7/12/24. Please note, your child cannot participate in off-site activities without a signed form. Failure to provide a permission slip will result in forfeiting your spot in the program.
What to bring:
- Car seat if needed
- Bathing suit and towel daily
- Extra change of cloths daily
- Small water float
- Comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes - please follow daily weather
- Water bottle and snacks. Lunch will be provided for the kids each day
- Sunscreen
- Bug spray (optional)
- Please bring a life jacket daily
