Augusta Recreation Department and Central Maine Twirling presents Baton Twirling classes for children ages 5-22 of all levels and abilities. Through participating in the sports of baton twirling your athlete will acquire qualities and skills that will stay with him or her long after the baton is put away: self esteem, confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork, self motivation, hand and eye coordination and physical fitness.
Baton is adapting it's program to meet the requirements of the State and CDC guidelines. Sessions for the 20/21 year will be in monthly sessions. Parents are asked to take their child(ren's) temperature prior to coming to class. We ask that children that present symptoms of illness please stay home until they are symptom free. Please bring a mask and make sure to review COVID19 mandated protocols prior to attending class.
